KGB’s track record and history of repeat business is testimony to the high quality, on-time and cost effective project delivery we provide across the KGB Group. KGB has become industry leaders in the removal and disposal of hazardous materials especially in areas such as garnet recycling and disposal, and non-hazardous product cleaning of painting equipment.

KGB Capabilities

KGB consists of 2 facilities:

The First Facility is our Head office at Gateshead (KGB Corporate)
  • This facility is home to our corporate team including Top Management, Compliance, Tendering and Administration Personnel.

  • The Corporate team consists of 10 staff.
The Second Facility is our blast and paint facility at Gateshead (KGB Protective Coatings and Site Services)

The size of the blast and paint facility allows for large volume throughput and due to the location this can be performed 24 hours a day 7 days a week without interference or disturbance with surrounding neighbours. The large size of our hard stand is very beneficial for allowing our clients to store their products both before and after processing allowing them to overcome unscheduled delays in their planed project delivery times.

  • This facility is approximately 13,500 square meters.

  • 4,500 square meters under cover including two blast chambers and painting area with the remainder as hard stand.

  • KGB’s Gateshead Protective Coatings facility employees 8 staff and 20 trades, non trades and transport personnel. The facility is currently running at approximately 80% utilisation.

  • Our Site Services business has a current workforce of 9 Staff and 17 trade and non-trade personnel. We perform total project delivery in this business division, including structural and mechanical repairs therefor removing the demarcation risk between onsite trades and suppliers from our clients.

KGB has become industry leaders in the removal and disposal of hazardous materials especially in areas such as garnet recycling and disposal, and non-hazardous product cleaning of painting equipment.
